Where do I get a QR code reader?

Getting the QR code reader is easy to do and best of all it's free.


Step 1
Using your mobile phone go to the REIM website (www.reim.mobi and select your mobile handset. There are four choices:

   1. Telstra Next-G Users

   2. i-Phone Users (any carrier)

   3. Blackberry Users (any carrier)

   4. ALL other phone types (any carrier)



Step 2
Select the link appropriate to your mobile phone, download and install the QR code reader Note: Telstra Next G users use a Telstra reader, while all other devices will use a reader from either i-nigma or Neo Reader

Step 3
Once installed, depending upon your mobile phone, the application is generally stored in the “Applications” folder on your mobile phone. Open the application and this will turn your phone’s camera into a “barcode scanner” capable of reading QR Codes when activated.

Step 4
Open the Application, Place the camera view over the QR Code and scan it (Note: depending on the type of phone, some will automatically scan the code, others will require you to take an image of the QR Code and it will then read and use the data. Either way, you are on your way to accessing QR Codes from that moment on) – Happy Scanning
