Our television commercial is getting a great response and the agents are also getting great comments from potential vendors at Appraisals. One of the largest agencies in Launceston has SMS on their boards and now when we mention QR Codes at appraisals people are totally seeing how it is SO much better than just receiving an SMS with a price and number of beds etc. It has truly created a point of difference which is so important.

QR (Quick Response) Codes

Where do I get a QR code reader?
Getting the QR code reader is easy to do and best of all it's free.
Step 1
1. On the mobile web - Go to www.reim.mobi on your mobile phone and follow the instructions. The software will automatically identify your handset type, download and install the i-nigma QR code reader. Standard mobile data charges will apply for downloading the code reader application.
2. By SMS - SMS the word ‘code’ to 1999 CODE (2633).
This service is available to Telstra, Optus, Virgin, 3 and Vodafone mobile customers.
A 55c charge will apply for sending this SMS and standard mobile data charges will apply for downloading the code reader application.
Step 2
With the QR code reader installed on your mobile, you will be ready to decode mobile barcodes and connect direct to the mobile internet. Of course you will need internet service from your provider.
Step 3
Once installed, depending upon your mobile phone, the application is generally stored in the “Applications” folder on your mobile phone. Open the application and this will turn your
phone’s camera into a “barcode scanner” capable of reading QR Codes when activated.
Step 4
Open the Application, place the camera view over the QR Code and scan it!
(Note: depending on the type of phone, some will automatically scan the code, others will require you to take an image of the QR Code and it will then read and use the data.
Either way, you
are on your way to accessing QR Codes from that moment on) – Happy Scanning!
